The Split-Fire Story

Split-Fire was founded in 1984 by Lubbert “Bert” Vanderweerd, whose early work centered on a two-way log splitter that could split on both the forward and return strokes. The company grew from that productivity-focused design philosophy into a family-operated equipment manufacturer serving forestry, agriculture and rental markets.
